Dr. William H. McCoy, .President of the Lord Fairfax Region 5 Community College, urged people to take advantage of these two-year area colleges, to use and to support them. He stressed the fact that they offer courses for everyone; adults, as well as youngsters just completing high school, and that the cirriculum encompasses a vast area of technical and academic subjects.
Dr. McCoy spoke at the Wednesday night meeting of the Rappahannock Lions Club last week. He also addressed students at Rappahannock County High School that afternoon.
A single track system of education is open' freely to all to help the people of the nation to approach the democratic ideal. Schools must provide for the education of all as a basis for -'national stability and progress, and afford each individual the opportunity to realize his full potential.
