I have been appointed to serve on the General Laws, Agriculture, Claims, and Enrolled Bills Committees. The water and air pollution problems are under consideration by the General Laws Committee and public hearings have been scheduled on both of these matters. Also being considered by this committee are bills pertaining to penalties for the possession and sale of LSD, changing legal holidays to Mondays, and enacting a upiform anatomical gift act. A bill prohibiting the sale and distribution of disposal bottles was defeated in this committee.
