Howard Lawson, Jr. who is serving in the U. S. Navy aboard the USS Saratoga is expected home on leave this month. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lawson of Amissville.
Mr. and Mrs. William L. Jackson and two sons Jerry and Junior of Washington, D. C. were Saturday overnight guests of Mr Jackson’s mother, Mrs. Fannie Jackson.
C. C. Lewis returned to his home in Sperryville Saturday after a week’s vacation with friends and relatives in Washington, D. C.
