Bernard Reid received lacerations of the face and head, a bruised right leg and a fractured pelvis. Walter Richard Reid, a passenger in the car, sustained lacerations of the head and a neck injury. The crash was investigated by Trooper J. B. Willis, and Bernard Reid was charged with reckless driving.

A rear end collision occurred Sunday night six tenths of a mile west of Sperryville on Route 211. Franklin Delano Brown of Sperryville, operating a 66 Chevrolet hardtop, stopped to make a left turn. He was struck from behind by a 68 Comaro
