Sullivan Comes to
Rappahannock
An innovative reading program is being implemented on a limited experimental basis at Rappahannock Elementary School. Developed after extensive research and much testing under a Carnegie Foundation Grant to isolate significant educational problem areas, Dr. M. W. Sullivan’s Reading Program is successfully teaching many children to read who were formerly considered “hopeless”. Linguistically structured to present the student with consistent development of sound and word recognition, the program can be started with a student who has not yet even mastered the alphabet.
