Membership Is Goal
of Local Farm Bar.
Allen Stokes Is serving his third term as president of the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau and his major goal for the organization this year Is to increase membership In order that the Farm Bureau may better serve the needs of the county.
Stokes, a livestock and grain producer, has been a Farm Bureau member for ten years, and a strong believer in the theory that much can be accomplished by people working together for the good of the community.
“I am convinced that each citizen has an obligation to give of his time and talents which would contribute to the well being of the county and state in which he lives,” said Stokes. Stokes’ activities are not confined to the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau. He is an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Culpeper. He is also a member of the Board of Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown, Va. and the, Virginia Livestock Association.
