The 25th district’s delegate to the General Assembly will have to recognize “the different needs for each county we represent,” Davies added.

The Shenandoah National Park’s study on possible expansion will have enormous consequences in Rappahannock and Madison, particularly on the tax base, and will be of little consequence in Culpeper, said Davies. Park Service personnel should seek “citizen input” in addition to responsese from local Planning Commissions, he maintained.
