I wish to express my appreciation to the many fine county residents who contributed so generously to the Sustaining Membership fund drive conducted by the Boy Scouts of America. We actually exceeded the goal set for us by the Shenandoah Area Council.
Anyone who has not yet been contacted by one of our area volunteers can mail a check, payable to the Boy Scouts of America, directly to me at Castleton, Va., and ensure the continuation of scouting for the youth of Rappahannock county.
