Mrs. Walter Williams, Jr. and Gilbert Smith of Front Royal were in Perry Point, Md., Wednesday to visit Eugene A. Pearson, Mrs. Williams brother who is a patient in the Veterans Administration Hospital there. Enroute home, the travelers stopped at the Memorial Hospital in Havre d’Grace to see another patient, Mrs. Mae Pullen formerly of Front Royal. Visitors in the Williams’ home this week included Mrs. Isabelle Butler of Front Royal, and Mrs. and Mrs. Lovel Walker.
Mrs. Evelyn Hickerson, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Lee Williams, Patty and Jimmy, Ms. Nancy Knight, Mrs. Odessa Campbell and Mrs. Marie Estes motored to Richmond Friday to attend the three-day crusade in the City Coliseum where the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart was evangelist.
