A group of Rappahannock citizens who are interested in summer athletics for young people met Tuesday night at Sperryville fire hall to form the Rappahannock Athletic Association in the hopes of fostering initially a baseball and softball league.
Elected president of the R.A.A. was Irvin L. Kenyon of Slate Mills. Mildred Jenkins of Sperryville was named vice president with Guy Foster, Flint Hill as secretary and Diane Kidwell, also of Flint Hill, treasurer.
