In anticipation of future legislation, the Secretary of Agriculture is requiring farm operators or their designees to report all acreages planted to a program crop. Program crops in Rappahannock County are wheat, com, grain sorghum, and barley.
All spring seeded corps should be reported as soon as possible after planting. Fall seeded crops should be reported before harvest begins on the farm. If the 1976 fall seeded crop has already been harvested, the farm operator should still report the acreage planted.
