uapusi youth meeting Saturday were Maerha Alford, Joyce Foster, Melanie, Kim, Carol, Jay Burke and director, Evelyn Burke. Next Saturday, May 28, the youth will have a Rally at Green Mountain Camp. The young people will have charge of the services Sunday, May 29, in the church with Tom Metzinger of Sperryville as guest speaker for the morning worship service.
Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Williams had as callers Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Atkins and family, Mrs. Johnny Heflin and Jennifer and the Edward Goransons.
Plans are under way by the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department to have an auction sale within the next several weeks. As folks are housecleaning they are to be on the alert for items they can donate for the sale.
