The Amissville Cub Scouts Pack 50 met the Warrenton Cub Scouts of Pack 1161 at the P. B. Smith School in Warrenton, on May 20, for a six-inning baseball game. The Warrenton Cubs took the game 12 to 2 but a great time was had by all.
The Cubs displayed good sportsmanlike conduct and all shook hands at the end of the game. Well-deserved cool drinks were served by contributing parents who were on hand to cheer for the teams. The Cubs hope to have a re-match game at Amissville in the near future.
