Honoring Elias Wines’ 77th birthday, approximately a hundred relatives gathered for a picnic Sunday on the banks of the Shenandoah River. The hostesses were two of Mr. Wines’ daughters, Mrs. Hazel Williams and Mrs. Paul Foster.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Cain had as Saturday dinner guests their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. George Cain, their daughter Julie, and her friend, Gretchen Heller, all of Alexandria.
