Rappahannock News Staff Writer

The Rappahannock School Board was alerted at last week’s meeting on the necessity of upgrading the elementary school’s sewage treatment lagoon. Superintendent William Bloomer informed the Board that the school’s State Water Control Board discharge permit had expired on June 30 and wouldn’t be renewed under the new effluent standards adopted by the SWCB.
