Those of us who were born and raised on a Rappahannock farm do not need to be educated concerning the beauty, the rewards, the hard work, and the disappointments associated with farming by new comers to the County. Especially from those who disseminate pearls of wisdom from behind pen names or meaningless titles. Are you listening Ima and Erstwhile Farmer? If you are so proud of your farming accomplishments, why not share them with the natives who may not be as fortunate as you in their agricultural endeavors?
Everyone is aware of the havoc that the drought has created for the farmer this year. Therefore, I would be very interested in learning how much of your income you expect to derive from the fruits of your labor on the farm this year.
