Fanning Baumgardner’s records of Planning Commission sessions deal with substantive issues, debates between members and points raised by the audience. The minutes kept on BZA meetings are concerned primarily with who made and seconded what motion.
The “other side” is beginning to take more care. At last Thursdays BZA meeting, P. E. Steve DeMent III and his attorney came prepared with both a secretary taking shorthand and a tape recorder. For the protection of Rappahannock, county government should leam from this example.
