Haase, Susie Coffey and Carolyn Leake. Din Bomberger taught drawing, Rap ’ Owings taught archery and Judy Baumgardner taught games. Stu Eiland and Kay DeLuise were instructors for canoeing. Howard Handorf and Bill Adams gave fishing lessons. Lyt Wood, Tippy Jenkins, Jim Bankston and Irv Kenyon joined together to teach nature classes. Carolyn Manwaring and Ruth Williams taught camping skills while Vinnie DeLuise. Lynne Baines and Elsie Gheen were swimming instructors.
In addition to the volunteer instructors, many other people in the community joined together to make the camp a success. For the first time, transportation was provided for the youngsters whose parents were unable to make the drive to Boston twice a day. William Lynn from Wakefield School donated a bus and driver that made rounds from Huntly to Woodville. Barbara Gentry, Jessie-Miller Turner and Frances Lyne from the Retired Teachers Association, Robert Ingle, Ellen Mustoe and Daphne McCullough helped with a car pool to bring youngsters in the summer reading program to afternoon camp activities.
