Services for Willie Lloyd Dennis of Scrabble were conducted Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church, Woodville by the Rev. U. S. Brokenburr and the Rev. Browning Peyton, both of Washington, D. C. Burial was in the family section of the church cemetery.
Mr. Dennis died Wednesday, July 19, 1978, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital., He was 83. 1
He was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived for 70 years at Scrabble, where he had been a farmer.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lilliam Timbers, Mrs. Olive Graves and Mrs. Katherine Taylor; two sons, Clifford M. and Lloyd L. Dennis; two brothers, Lawrence Dennis and Creed Dennis; two sisters, Mrs. Laurie D. David and Mrs. Sadie Jones; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
