Corbin
Ronnie Wayne Corbin, 20, of Amissville died Thursday, July 20; 1978, in a Fairfax Hospital. A tree worker, he died of injuries sustained when a tree fell on him.
A lifetime resident of Amissville he was the son of Daniel and Jessie Nicholson Corbin, who survive. Also surviving are four brothers, Edward Lee, Linwood, Johnnie Randolph and Daniel W. Corbin, all of Amissville; a half-brother, Joseph Nicholson of Rixeyville; and a half sister, Mrs. Anna P. Payne of Washington, Va.
A funeral service was conducted at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper, Sunday afternoon by the Rev. David M. Moore. Interment was at the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery, Reva.
Pallbearers were Terry Fritts. Roger Jones, Thomas Corbin, Everett Corbin Jr.. Douglas Corbin and Jimmy Baumgardner.
Bible School
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will conduct Bible school next week from Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Children of all ages are invited.
