Lillard
Graveside services for Harry Clifford Lillard, 85, of Boston, were held Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. Floyd T. Binns.
Mr. Lillard died Monday, July 24, 1978, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Son of the late William H. and Sarah Nethers Lillard, he was a native of Rappahannock County. He was a retired employee of the Virginia State Department of Highways and Transportation and a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth P. Lillard; a son, Reid Clifford Lillard of Boston; two daughters. Mrs. C. C. Marshall of Culpeper and Mrs. Joe Hawkins of Boston; two brothers, Henry B. Lillard of Rapidan and Willis Lillard of Culpeper; a sister, Mrs. W. B. Jenkins of Washington, Va.; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Edmund Burke, Joe Hawkins, Doyle Marshall, Jack Petty, Tom Winkler, and Robert McDaniel.
