Lewis
Andrew Edward Lewis of Flint Hill died July 21, 1978, in Skyline Terrace Nursing Home in Woodstock. He was 64.
Mr. Lewis was born January 5, 1914, in Albemarle County, the son of John and Margaret Lewis. He was married to Betty B. Lewis, who survives.
Additional survivors are a stepson, Lester Bridgett, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Delores Sturdivant, both of Washington, D.C.
Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Turner Funeral Home in Front Royal conducted by the Rev. John Pendleton. Interment was in the Flint Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Samuel Jett, Homer Natt, Nancy Natt, David Jones, Russell Jordan and Leonard Jordan.
Hershey
William P. Hershey, 63, of Bristol, Pa. died July 15, 1978 at his residence. He was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. George B. Hershey of Lancaster, and the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke of Washington, Va. He was married to the former Pauline Burke of Rappahannock County, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard W. Hershey of Levittown, Pa. and Gary C. Hershey of Tullytown, Pa. and one grandson; a brother, George B. Hershey Jr. of Lancaster.
Mr. Hershey was a veteran of World War II, a member of the choir and Board of Missions of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an accountant prior to his retirement in 1975.
Services were conducted July 18 at Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. Milton Ackey and interment was in Bellevue Cemetery at Gap, Pa.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to the Missionary Fund of Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Bo* 704, Bristol, Pa. 19007.
