Flint Hill Rescue Squad responded to a wreck July 4 on Route 729 but services were not needed and again on July 8 this unit was called to a wreck on Route 522 near Massies Corner and service was not used. July 12 Mrs. Mozelle Carver of Washington was taken from the Flint Hill fire hall to Warren Memorial Hospital and back to her home on Fodderstack Road. Mrs. Susan B. Jenkins was taken from Washington to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton on July 23.

July 20, Mrs. Marie Brown was transported to Culpeper Memorial Hospital from her home in Woodville by the Sperryville Rescue Squad. This unit responded to a motorcycle accident on Rt. 211 west of Sperryville July 23, but their transportation services were not used.
