When the handsome young man and his blushing bride stood before the minister in the company of relatives and friends those many years ago they repeated vows to each other. Each promised, "I will” or “I do.” Their commitment to each other at that time was perhaps viewed as an end - an end to courtship, an end to single an end to childhood.
Possibly in the excitement and rush of planning and preparation for the “big day”, there was little time left for thoughts of the beginning that day actually marked - the beginning of what is supposed to be a permanent relationship, the beginning of life as a couple who are yet individuals, maybe the beginning of a new family, a branching out of the family tree.
