At the Rappahannock Library in Washington, Thursday, March 22, 7:30 in the evening, Joseph J. Scherschel, co-director of photography for the National Geographic, will show "Australia Outback-1978," a fascinating journey into the great agricultural and cattle lands of a world that is still in basic pioneer stage. He will use the most sophisticated projection and sound equipment known today.
His program will have strong appeal for both men and women, adults and children, and it will be free through the generosity of this talented, much travelled man, Joe Scherschel, who has been a Rappahannock resident for ten years.
