Easterling Featured
Two special services at the New Salem Baptist Church at Griffinsburg will feature Ray Easterling, defensive free safety for the Atlanta Falcons. The services will be held March 25 at 11 a.m. and again at 6:30 p.m., the community youth service that evening. The public is invited to these services.
Easterling, one of Virginia’s best known Christian athletes, joined the Falcons in 1972, following a successful career as a collegiate football player for the University of Richmond. He was named twice to the All-Star and the All-Southern Conference teams and was selected to play in the 1972 Coaches’ All-American game in Lubbock, Texas.

Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson is sending an assistant, Jim Hobgood to the Rappahannock County area on Wednesday, March 21, 1979. He will be at the Courthouse in Washington from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
