Fly them only in open spaces, away from trees, lights, overhead wires, television and CB antennas.
Fly only on clear, cloudless days when the ground and grass is dry.
Avoid highways and busy streets. If the kite becomes caught in a tree or other obstruction, and cannot be freed with a dry wooden pole, leave it.
Call the local power company and report it if a kite becomes tanjfled on th< electrical wires.
