Amissville Firemen opened their annual carnival last night for a 4-night run, concluding Saturday night with the awarding of the grand prize and other prizes.
The fund-raising carnival provides revenue for operating expenses of the fire department and rescue squad and provides good, clean fun and entertainment for the entire family. The midway features rides, games and excitement for all. Good food and regular carnival fare will be available each evening along with games of skill.
The feature tonight, Thursday, is the parade and Friday night a carnival queen will be crowned.
