In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Carroll C. Freeman, Jr. and Jimmy Crawford, both of Front Royal; three daughters, Juanita Freeman, Lorraine Freeman and Kim Crawford, all of Front Royal, and one brother, James E. Freeman of Alexandria.

Russell

A funeral service for Mrs. Grade Reid Russell, 90, of Huntly, who died Saturday, June 16, 1979, at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, will be held today, Thursday at 2 p.m. at Sandy Hook Baptist Church in Huntly.

The Rev. Aaron Fletcher will conduct the service and burial will be in the Russell Cemetery at Huntly.

Mrs. Russell was born March 4, 1889, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Herndon Taylor and Roberta Corbin Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Russell.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie Jordan and Mrs. Gladys Jordan, both of Linden; one brother, Willie Brooks of Manassas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Volunteers Feted

Volunteers for the Rappahannock Cancer Crusade and their families will be treated to a fried chicken dinner on Saturday, June 23, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Recreation Center on Route 211. The dinner will be held rain or shine.
