Charles Gilbert Lawrence III was among 327 students receiving degrees May 12 during the 106th Commencement at Shepherd College.
Lawrence, son of Charles G. Lawrence of Amissville, received an Associate of Applied Science degree. He is a 1977 graduate of Culpeper County High School.
Lawrence completed a twoyear course and plans to enter Eastern Kentucky University this fall and continue his studies in fire administration.
