On Tuesday, June 11, the Board of the Rappahannock Farmers’ Market met to discuss several issues.
During the meeting, a number of new appointments were made, including the election of Marshall Burke of Woodville to the Executive Board of the Market. He was then placed on the Quality Control Committee.
Mrs. Marie Atkins of Sperryville was named chairman of the Special Committee to arrange a float representing the Market in all firemen’s parades in the county. Assisting her will be Mrs. Geneva Burke of Woodville and Carroll Fox of Castleton.
