Mr*. W. W. Sanford in Orange and attended a birthday party for her great niece and nephew, Chip and Carri Sanford, twins of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford III.

Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Holland and Lisa, accompanied by Mrs. Shirley Hitt of Castleton, Mrs. Lee Swindler and Mrs. Roy Swindler, attended the graduation at Lord Fairfax Community College, Middletown, Friday where Lynn Holland was a member of the class.

Mrs. Earle Wayland and Mr. and Mrs. Dickie Wayland visited Mr. Wayland in the VA Hospital in Martinsburg Sunday.

Steve DeMent and his father-in-law. Judge Franklin Dupree of Raleigh, N.C.. celebrated Father’s Day and Judge Dupree’s promotion to Chief Federal Judge of the Eastern District of North Carolina, with a three day fishing trip to the North Carolina coast. Accompanying them were Judge John L. Larkins of Trenton. N.C., retiring Chief Judge of N.C.’s Eastern District and Judge Robert Maxwell of Wheeling, W. Va.
