The much publicised gas shortage that we’ve all heard a great deal about, but thought was confined to Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, has hit Rappahannock County. Local stations have had allotments cut by distributors, and residents of Front Royal and Warrenton reportedly could not get any gas over the weekend.
The two Gulf stations, B&B Gulf on Rt. 211 and Baldwin’s Gulf in Washington, are receiving 80 percent and 75 percent.
