According to a space study report submitted to the school board last Wednesday, Rappahannock County High School has 43 per cent excess space over and above the guidelines from the state on minimum square footage per pupil.
Based on the figures presented by Allen Stokes and Robert Eastham working in conjunction with Walter Masterson, the elementary school is even more underutilized with 69 per cent excess room compared to state guidelines.
