Paul Preston Estep, 68, of Mt. Jackson died Monday, May 12, 1980.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church at Hudson Cross Roads by the Rev. Donald R. Yost. Burial was at Hudson Cross Roads Cemetery.
Mr. Estep was born June 8, 1911 in Shenandoah County, a son of the late Charles Jackson and Ida Victoria Drummonds Estep. He was a member of Saint James Lutheran Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Surviving with his widow, the former Pauline Frances Lindamood, are eight daughters, Beatrice G. Sager of Hyattsville, Md., Shirley A. Barb, Barbara A. Kaplinger and Joanne J. Phillips, all of Fulks Run, Gayetti V. Turner of New Jersey, Diana V. Grigsby of Sperryville, Pamela Jones of Mt. Jackson and Nancy L. Worthman of Vienna; eight sons, Harry Estep of Hyattsville, Md., Edward Estep of New York, Preston Estep of Centreville, Joe Estep of Manassas, Charles Estep of Edinburg, Larry Estep of Leesburg, Kenneth Estep of Woodbridge and Dennis Estep, at home; 46 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.
