Jenkins

Mrs. Edna Yancey Jenkins died May 13, 1980 at her residence near Viewtown. She was 85, a native of Rappahannock County, the daughter of Peter C. and Sarah Bruce Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, at the Forest Grove Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. A. C. Walker.

Mrs. Jenkins was married twice, to the late Quinton Yancy and the late Elmer T. Jenkins. /*

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by a son, Earl Yancey of Viewtown; four daughters, Mrs. Lavinia Barron of Viewtown, Mrs. Sarah Jenkins of Amissville, Mrs. Juanita Pullen of Jacksonville, Fla. and Mrs. Peggy May of Culpeper.

Also surviving are two step-sons. Rudolph Jenkins of Remington and Marvin Jenkins of Washington, D. C.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Pauline Latham of Viewtown and Mrs. Audrey Jenkins of Annandale; twelve grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren, and two stepgrandchildren.

Gore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
