The Rappahannock Planning Commission voted September 24 to recommend that the Board of Supervisors ' approve the rezoning of less than one acre of land belonging to James P. Mills near the Rappahannock Culpep r line.

Rappahannock County will receive $5,484.93 as its share of $5,092,427 in fourth quarter profits generated by the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The revenue is distributed to the state’s counties, cities and towns on a per capita basis at the rate of $1.09 for the current period.
The county will also receive $631.07 for its per capita share of the State Wine Tax for the same period.
In addition, the town of Washington will get $206.92 in ABC profits.
