Mills was then joined by attorney Sharon Genebach Luke, who said that she thought the description was adequate for the purposes of the hearing.
Although two speakers appeared who were technically in opposition to the rezoning request, they both expressed feelings of good will toward Mills’ efforts and said that their main concern was to protect their own property.

The first speaker. William Kelly, said that he owned three houses near Mills’ property as well as the private road that serves them. Like Miller, he had been concerned about the ommission of the size of the property when the hearing was advertised.
“1 don't want to stand in the way of this young man," Kelly said. “My concern is really for the future.” Kelly said that another, perhaps less conscientious owner of a country garage could create an eyesore that would detract both from the aesthetic and financial value of his and other adjoining property.
