Waterford Fair
Recreates Past
The tantalizing sights, sounds and smells of 18th and 19th century rural America will greet visitors to Waterford's 37th homes tour and crafts exhibit Oct. 3, 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the nonprofit Waterford Foundation, the fair provides more than 65 craft demonstrations, live music and dances, a tour of private homes and thousands of handicrafts for sale.
The $5 admission fee per person, with children 12 and under admitted free, includes parking, admission to the 10 houses which are open on a varied schedule, and entry to all exhibit buildings.
4-H Pony
Club To Meet
A meeting of the 4-H Horse and Pony Club will be held Friday, October 3, at 5:30 at Birchgate Farm in Amissville. Books will be handed out and past accomplishments verified. Also plans will be discussed for a trip to a 4-H event at Middleburg and one to the Washington International Horse Show. In addition, future clinics will come under consideration.
