A rash of traffic crashes and collisions have occurred in the past week and have been investigated by Trooper C. A. Moore. Injuries have been minimal in most cases but property damage has been extensive.
September 25 on Route 522 at the intersection of Route 637 near Foster’s, north of Flint Hill, two vehicles collided. According to Moore. Lee Haun of Flint Hill in a *74 Ford truck made a left turn in the path of Ben Cason of Warrenton who was travelling north.
Mary Alice Cason, a passenger, sustained undetermined injuries and was taken to Fauquier Hospital. Warrenton.
Damage to the Haun vehicle was estimated at S2000 and at SI500 to the Cason. Haun was cited for reckless driving, said Moore.
