Wayland were Mrs. Annie Poe and Jerry of Carev. N. C., and Mr. and Mrs. John Williams of Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Wayland were dinner guests Saturday of the Williams.

Mrs. Julia Wood visited her aunt. Mrs. Jessie Quaintance. in Culpeper Memorial Hospital Monday.

Clifton Clark attended the Maryland State Foxhunters Association field trial last week at Croom. Md. Mr. Clark was an overnight guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Corker in Beaverdam and returned home on Monday.

The Woodville Homemakers Club will meet October 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the church. A beautician will be present and the community is invited.

Basketball

All fifth and sixth grade boys who plan on participating in the RCHS fall basketball program must register at the high school on Saturday. October 4. between 9 and 10 a.m. Practice will begin at 10 and continue until noon.

Youngsters are reminded to bring physicals and parental permission slips. Parents and anyone interested in helping to coach a team are invited to attend the clinic.
