was involved in a single vehicle crash in Gid Brown Hollow. She was driving a ’78 Dodge which went out of control and struck a rock wall. There were no injuries and no charges were placed.
Frank Hardy of Washington, driving a ’65 Mercury tore down several panels of fence and struck a tree Saturday on the Shade Road, Route 622. Hardy ran off the right of the road and lost control of the auto, according to Trooper Moore who said charges were pending. A juvenile, a passenger with Hardy, sustained some injuries and was taken to Fauquier Hospital.
On September 28 at 10:30 a.m. on Route 647 at Flint Hill near the intersection of Route 638, George Cook of Flint Hill escaped serious injury when a deer jumped into the' side of his ’69 Chevrolet convertible, fell into the back seat, then jumped out and fled.
