Students Want

More Discipline Children and rules don’t often go together without a lot of conflict. Students like testing rules and those who enforce them. It’s a big part of growing up.

This testing of parental and teachers’ discipline, and the discipline of society’s laws and accepted behavior, helps students develop the selfdiscipline they'll need at maturity.

Don’t be surprised if your children disagree with you. or appear to reject what you say. Children of all ages, no matter how much they appear not to. actually want guidance and rules from adults. They want to know how their parents and teachers stand in the swirl of conflicting values and peer pressure.
