THE THIRD ANNUAL FODDERSTACK CLASSIC will be held Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. in Flint Hill and finishing in front of the courthouse in Washington. Last year’s race brought out 250 runners and walkers ranging in age from 3 to 67 years. The winning time was 35 minutes 8 seconds and the longest time was two hours. Karen Bear and Frances Foster, both of Washington, have been training for Saturday’s race and their best time was 77 minutes for the 6.2 miles. Registration Saturday will take place at Lakewood Stoves in Flint Hill and must be completed by 9 a.m. The entry fee is $6. Call 675-3621 for information.
