Wormald

Fredrick Leighton (Eric) Wormald, 69, of Sperryville died Thursday, April 9,1981, in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Private services were held with Clore Funeral Home, Culpeper, in charge.

Wormald, retired vice president of the Association of American Colleges, served as editor of its education journal for 22 years. He had lived in Sperryville since retiring in 1977. He was a native of Leeds, England.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia McConchie Wormald; one son, John Wormald of Paris, France; one daughter, Mrs. Averilt Cooper of London, England, and five grandchildren.
