Ujhazy

Karoly Ujhazy, 85, of Cortland died Thursday, March 26, 1981, at Cortland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were conducted March 28.

He was born in Hungary, the son of Istvan and Margaret Ujhazy. Mr. Ujhazy was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a member of the MHBK Organization.

He was a colonel in the Hungarian Kingdom's Artillery and the last commander of Budapest Air Defense during World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Illona Szabo Ujhazy of Cortland and a daughter, Maria Csemez of Boston.
