To the editor:
On Monday, April 20, Rappahannock County High School will hold its first home track meet. The team and community began four years ago to earn money to build a track and their work will finally pay off.
The meet is with Page County and is scheduled to begin at 3:45. There will be a fund-raising bake sale and proceeds will go towards an asphalt runway for the high jump and for putting in a pole vault pit.
I urge you to come and support your county’s teams. With care from the community, troubles might be surmounted and goals attained.
