The Rappahannock* Rapidan Mental Retardation Services will sponsor a special “Dinosaur Egg Hunt” for mentally retarded children and adults in Rappahannock, Orange, Culpeper, Madison and Fauquier counties.

Festivities will take place on Saturday. April 18, from 10 a.m. until noon at Mountain Run Lake in Culpeper.

According to recreation coordinator Kaki Mitchell, the egg hunt is the result of cooperation and support from community organizations and individuals.

Contributions have come from the Concerned Citizens for the Retarded and the Orange W°mans Club. Transportation help will be provided by the Orange Baptist Church. Oak Wing

Sandra and Bob Curtis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, announce the adoption of their first child, a son, Joshua Deane Curtis.

Maternal grandparents are Rache} and Tom Deane of Charlottesville. Paternal, grandparents are Mary and Jack Curtis of Flint Hill. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Eleanor Timmons of Alexandria and Mrs. Julia Curtis of Front Royal.
