Landing and at 12 noon, the VCCR’s 15 gate Flatwater Slalom goes from the Front Royal Landing.
Special trophies will be presented along with the traditional VCCR medallions awarded for first, second and third place winners in each class of the three races.
The Awards Banquet which will be open to the public will be held April 25 at 6 p.m. at the Jaycees fairgrounds. The Front Royal Jaycees sponsor the annual canoe races.
