Married

Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Jackson of Boston announce the marriage of their daughter, Ruth E. Jackson, to James W. Newkirk of Arlington, son of Mrs. Hattie Newkirk.

The couple was married Saturday, March 14, at the home of the bride. The Rev. U. S. Brokenburr officiated at the ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a powder blue street length dress with white top and blue edging. She carried a bouquet of white daisies and blue carnations with baby’s breath.

Following the ceremony, a* reception was given by the bride’s parents at Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville. The couple will reside in Boston.
